This spectacular four hour excursion ideal for the whole family, includes a return ferry trip, 4x4 trailer ride and a 2,2 km guided walk down the scenic "Bushbuck" trail, through the forests, onto the cliffs, into the caves and along the coast. The walk ends in the Food Forest at the Featherbed Tavern where optional meals are served. Try their fish speciality or choose from the menu. Featherbed Nature Reserve is considered the biggest attraction in the Garden Route. Departures daily at 10h00 (Times to slot in with the Choo-Tjoe schedule) From the John Benn Jetty, Remembrance Ave, off Waterfront Drive 400 m west of the waterfront and station. Booking essential. ROBBERG 11 km (5 hours) A moderate to strenuous hike with spectacular scenery. Keep your eyes open for whales and dolphins. Overnight hiking is available from 1 day to 10 days on the challenging Outeniqua Trail. This trail follows through the foothills of the magnificent Outeniqua Mountain Range. |
