offers the opportunity to view the big six in a mild, malaria free environment
and enjoy top class golf at a wide variety of courses.
DAY 1: Arriving at George Airport, guests are transported to their accommodation in Knysna, South Africa’s favourite town. An opportunity exists to see Africa’s wildlife at the Buffalo Hills Game farm.DAY 2:The morning is free to explore the charming Village of Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. Lunch is followed by 18 holes at the Plett Country Club where visitors are always warmly received. DAY 3:A scenic drive to Plettenberg Bay is followed by a round of golf at the Goose Valley Country Club (Gary Player designed). After lunch our travels takes us to the Knysna Waterfront where the Outeniqua Choo- Tjoe Steam Train will take you on an unforgettable journey. DAY 4:Golf at Sparrebosch. This brand new championship course will test your handicap but offers scenic views of the Outeniqua Mountains and ocean. This is followed by an opportunity to taste the famous Knysna Oysters and enjoy a sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon. DAY 5:The morning is set aside for some fee time. After lunch the tour will lead you to Fancourt, rated as one of the worlds leading golf resorts. Dinner and accommodation in George. DAY 6:Drive to Oudtshoorn. The unique Cango Caves, Ostrich and Cheetah farm will keep us entertained. Overnight at the outskirts of the Cape Winelands. DAY 7: The day is spent wine tasting and visiting some of the highlights of Cape Town. Overnight at the V&A Waterfront. DAY 8: Eighteen holes at the championship Steenberg Country Golf Course is followed by a wine tasting. DAY 9: A visit to some of Cape Town’s highlights such as Table Mountain and the Waterfront will be followed by your airport/hotel drop-off. NOTE: The tour price includes: accommodation, ground transportation, breakfasts & dinneron day 1, green fees, entry to parks and activities, tourism levy, driver/guide and sales tax. Excluded are: airfares, lunches and dinners, gratuities and caddy tips, halfway house refreshments, alcoholic beverages and items of a personal nature. |
